IT Team Leader

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor small IT staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • System Administration and Maintenance:
    • Hands-on management of servers, networks, and infrastructure.
    • Optimize system performance and scalability.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with vendors for software licenses, support, and maintenance.
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Application Management:
    • Monitor applications such as ERP, BI and LMS performance, security,
      and licensing.
    • Evaluate, select, and deploy software solutions that align with business
      needs.
  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP):
    • Identify critical business processes and create contingency plans to ensure
      uninterrupted operations during disruptions.
  • Disaster Recovery (DR):
    • Establish recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives
      (RPOs) for critical applications and data.
  • Security systems and ISO/IEC 27001 Compliance:
    • Implement controls, risk assessments, and security policies.
    • Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 27001 standards for information security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in similar position.
  • Strong knowledge in management system administration, network architecture, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, cloud computing, and backup solutions.
  • Experience in oversee security systems.
  • Experience in technical procurement and working with outsource service providers.
  • Experience in ERP management – Priority knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in SQL, Experience with BI platforms is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional teams, executives, and end-users.
